Default problems with my z32

so this is how it goes...

im having a stalling problem when going from any gear to neutral when going to stop at a traffic light. also when i go to accelerate it sometimes doesnt accelerate normally. it has a somewhat slower or held back feeling.

when it stalls i put the gas on and it doesnt respond to me pushing down the accelerator the rpms continue to slowly fall until it stalls.

i've checked the mafs already with a known good one and made sure it was all plugged in and all.

thanks for any help.

Joe

we just checked for cracked vaccuum lines and such but could not find any evident vacuum leaks. i'm not too familiar with the z32 engine bay so my friend would appreciate if someone who is could possibly come help him out with it.

Does it seem like it is running on less than 6 cylinders when it loses power? Or is it a smooth power loss? Still sounds like vac leak, pressurize the intake system, and see if it will hold pressure or hiss anywhere.

I have to agree with this, it may not be a turbo but you're still going to use the same method to find a vacuum leak. Hook a compressor to your T pipe under the nose panel and regulate it down to 7lbs so it has a constant feed, at 7lbs any leak you have will make a noticable noise. Also have you by chance put a pop charger in recently?

Joe call me, I lost my old phone so I don't have your number anymore.

Also, it is a smooth loss of power, the rpms will drop gradually untill I put the clutch in then it will stall, still slowly tho, thnx for all the help, have to wait till tomorrow to pressure test it.
