Im thinking its multiple problems because of how weird the symptoms are.

 

Check the crank position sensor? bad signal from that will put the car in limp mode.

 

Hmmm, I thought it wouldn't run if that was bad, how would I check that? I dont have a spare lying around unfortunately.

 

if its on its way out it will run like poop on a stick.

Buy a new one...its probably time anyway. lol.

 

Heh, yeah, dan is coming tomorrow hopefully and I have to pick up a new temp sensor anyways just in case, so i'll grab one of those too, and hopefully ill have an update on my car that its running tomorrow afternoon >.<

 

it only has 120k on it. waaaaaaay too soon. this thing was girl owned before him, and still is pretty much lol.

 

I will kill you, I still want to get a new one, or check it out, cant overlook anything.

 

Dan is the man for sure. Id recommend getting that battery back charged up and running some codes.

 

Bought a new CAS, put that in, charged the battery, hopes were high, turned over with no start . Check engine light is on but when I do self check it gives me 5-5-5 clear and then turns off, but when I take the key out and put it back in its on again. Idk what to do next but I need to do something soon, any more ideas? Oh and I put in a new thermostat too.
