Default SR 5 speed tranny leak

I'm kind of a noob to all this, this is all i can tell that's leaking without jacking the car up yet. It's a relatively small leak from what i know, as in overnight i had only a spot the size of a quarter on my driveway, and this is the only leak i have noticed so far.

What is this that's leaking, why, and how do i fix lol? thanks. and also, since it's in the pictures, what is the sensor for?

Sensor is either reverse lights or N position sensor, or 5th gear sensor. That should cover them all haha.

i figured it might be the revers light one, if it is something isn't wired right cause my lights don't come on (well i haven't check the bulbs themselves, guess i should try that first), haven't had enough time yet to check all this shit out since i got the car

Kyle, if you want to bring it by my house I have a craftsman jack with a nice amount of lift to it, so we can look at it. I'll give you a hand with it.

sweet, i gots a craftsman too (smaller one) but a crazy angle driveway and no garage space .

I got stuck out in the rain changing the oil today, my friend when he owned it must've overtightened the filter like fuck cause i still haven't gotten it off yet, very cramped in there .

Bring it on over, I have tools for removing filters. I have a flat driveway and a carport. My jack has 17 inches of lift.

Holy sheit dude, that jack would be pimp. Problem tho, i drained the oil already and the filter has puncture wounds from my failed attempts . Good thing i have extra cars lol. I'm gonna have take the alternator off to get to it better i think.

I could bring my filter removing stuff over to your house. It's not a problem.
