before you take your alternator off and possibly break that too
scratch your head really hard and do a couple of curls with 10lbs
build your muscle up
then just twist the filter off

Be careful with stuck filters. The filter that came on my swap was so stuck on that the filter itself collapsed and twisted when I tried to remove it. I ended up stabbing a screwdriver through it and using that like a T handle, only to have the piece the filter screws onto break.

Ouch, yea i put a screwdriver through the other end of the filter, where the notches are in it for those tools to grab ahold of it. only problem is there wasn't room to use the screwdriver handle at that point .

I also only barely jacked the car up too, so when i get more time i'm going to jack it up more and see what i can come up with. Also this is a US filter, my friend owned the car before me and replaced the oil twice before. Shouldn't have put the damn thing on so tight!
