Default went threw a water puddle and??

ok so i was driving tonight with friends went threw a water puddle ang got my ECU wet water came in the fire wall hole for the wiring harness. soon as it got wet the car shut off. getting fuel no spark. friend of mine said let it dry. oh and it keeps blowing #10 fuse for (ENG CONT) any ideas besides let it dry ?

pull it, and check your resistors... they may have blown one and its grounding out and blowing fuses.

puddle? sounds like you raped lake okachobee! but srsly, dont do anything til it dries, prob need a new ecu, idk how much water got in there, but is this ka or sr?

most likely going to need a new ecu. if its an s13 ka ecu, no big deal, like 20 bucks

Let it dry and quit trying to turn it on while wet. The ECU is actually conformally coated, so it should just dry out and be fine. You might disconnect the battery, too. There are always-on power connections to the ECU.

Take the ECU out and put it under a glass bowl in the sun. I did that with my phone after it went for a swim at the beach on New Years haha. Worked like magic.

i fixed it i put my other SOHC ECU works just fine. the funny part is that it was not much of a puddle at all i had a friend with me and i was kind of going side ways on a dirt road and somebody put a mini lake in the middle of road then i hit it with the ass end piched to the right as soon as i hit the water it stalled out the car then i tried dumping the clutch to start it. then my friend was like hey my feet are wet then i looked down water every were. now that i know not to drift threw puddles learn from me please.....

build a time machine.
go back in time, to before removing fender liners, and plugs that would cause water to reach ecu.
continue on with life, without a wet ecu.
