Default when fans are turned on, water gauge goes crazy

When i flip my switch to turn my aftermarket fans on(2 12") It spikes my temp up 10-15 degreese. Also today the fucking thing at idle was like jumping all over the place from 300 back down to 200 like extreamly fast and random. When i started going it was fine and went back to 200-210.

Sounds like air in the system. or a bad sensor.

Or, you wired the fans backwards.

Um, I really don't think I can answer this question right now in a serious manor but I will do my best.

If the fan is blowing towards the front of the car when it's on, you're doing it wrong. Check the wires from the fan and reverse them.

soooooooooo
a fan that should be pulling cold air through a radiator, that is now blowing hot air back at the radiator doesnt sound like a possible problem?

if you dont know, you dont have to post anything.

Technically, it wouldn't be blowing hot air back through the radiator, it would just be causing a massive restriction at speed, nearly blocking it.

It could cause the 10-15 degree spike yes. but no way in hell it would cause the temp to bounce from 300-200 and back. if the coolant is really at 300 he has some serious problems.

And show me were my tech posts are way off.
