Hey ppl i have a 200sx se with the sr20det in it and im getting noise from the bottom end and was needing help. I cant do any of the work where i live out in Holiday. This is my first nissan and my first turbo set up all help will be great.

 

change your oil, check for metal, if there is metal, you need a new block

 

well not necessarily a new block, just new internals. it would probably be alot easier though just replacing the motor since your not familiar with taking apart a motor.

 

well he cant do the work himself anyway, after he would pay someone to do his internals, IF the block and crank are fine...just get a shortblock if anything

 

i have taken apart motors for hondas. im just prayin its just the bearings and nothing else.... i just dont have a place to do the work and would like someone with knowledge of nissan to be there just in case i have ? or to help out..

 

stop driving it now if it is knocked, and maybe you will save your crank

which motor did you have in there? Avenir...Bluebird..or the nasty GTIR

i lost the bottom end in my GTIR some time back...was no fun...if you were closer i would love to help you out.
