Default How do i replace....

ok, my engine light has been on for along time, so tonight i had my friend check it, and its the crankshaft position sensor A. so my question is: How do i replace it? thanks in advance!

get a new one, its on the bellhousing, replace

If you have stock emissions and what not, it can be a bit of a pain to get to. It is on the top of the bell housing. I've had luck with removing the tranny mount and what not and letting the engine lean back. there is usually enough room to get your arm up and in there..

is the sensor necessary to replace right away? cause iv'e been driving on it since october of last year, but no problems yet.

might hurt gas mileage a touch, but there are other systems the ECU uses to run right too...
s13s don't even have the extra sensor...
