pull the pan, check your crank... if its ok then your good.. you could have it turned and be ok, just run the right bearings. if you have it .010 over then get .010 bearings... You will be ok without removing the head. you can actually do it with the motor in the car if your block is ok. But if not you will have to pull the head.
