finally got some cash in my hands now and im in the market for a decent set of wheels and tires for the 240, i am not the most knowlegable but, i was wondering could i fit some 18's on her and still look good and not monster trucking it? my suspension setup is just megans and struts and i would go 17's but i really dont like having a tremendous amount of wheel gap or some bulky ass tires. im open to any opinions. btw has anyone sported some hyper silver 962's im curious on what they look like.

 

oh and i know everyone is all like get coilovers get coilovers, well im happy with my setup, this is my dd and i really dont want to track my car and like to just roll clean. fact is ladies like the clean not how baller ass low it is.

 

I've always wanted 17s, but now I think when the time comes I'll go 18's just so I can have that extra half inch of underbody clearance but still fill the wells.

 

Get some 5zigens. Cheap and sexy.

I've got 18's on mine, I don't remember the widths of the wheels but I can get those if you need it. the only change to the suspension was some Eibach springs.

18x9.5 and 18x8.5 sportmax 962s would look good. if your worried about monster trucking it, get a smaller sidewall tire.

 

Now this is just my opinion, but I have always thought 18's on the front of an s13 look too big. Go 17's all around or 17/18 stagger.

I remember our conversation at qsl about this, and for the record, sportmax does make 962's in painted silver with a polished lip.
