Well, for all the people who kept saying shit about the mono leaf... Its fixed, got off my lazy ass today and got her finished.

Still got the scraping, hopefully raising the carrier by 1-2" will take care of that though... Going to Lowes after this to get the steel.

Well, today I finally got the nerve to try and re-drill... And well, it was a huge success... It solved the last issue I had of the scrapping.

So I got some during-after pics for you guys...





And heres my FREE DVD player that a friend of the family gave me.

 

Well yesterday I finally got off my ass.. Decided to get some work done on this beast... I pulled my tank and all the brackets yesterday.. Then today I got out and pulled my axle with springs and shocks. I have everything pulled, ready to start mocking up my 2x3 sq frame.

Glad to see you started working on it again. 1 question. Why not use a gas tank that would be a little flatter so it would fit the frame from underneath the frame? Just asking for curiosity sake.

 

I will be using a custom cell later down the road. But my plan is to get it full functional and drivable before slamfest. So I am using what I have until I can get her back home and do some more work to it. Its only a few grinds to remove that bracket anyway .
