Default a little help please

ok so heres the deal , since im having no luck finding a new turbo in my price range, and the local shops around here are charging a minium of 350 to rebuild the t3 i have. i think im goin to try and rebuild it myself,i have all the tools, from the snap ring pliers to in/lb torque wrench. ive found differant kits, all seem pretty easy to do. my question is, should i get the shaft balanced ? it has very little shaft play , and from the looks of it the oil seals seem to be the only thing wrong with it.

send it to charlie at CMR in zephryhills, he will do it for around $250 balanced.

What shops did you find that rebuilds them locally? I can't find not a single one. CMR is the nearest.

if you got the turbo for free or something, i would say ya go ahead and take it apart etc. but if you paid money, i would rather see it done by people who know what there doing. give cmr a call.

take your time and do it yourself if you have the tools, time and know-how...probably should get it balanced though, unless its like super minimal i guess
