what down pipes have some of you had the fit really tight under the body? i need to get a new one, and i want to get a tight fitting one

 

We had to make our own since we went with a top mount turbo. Only the expensive brands were made correctly to fit, we made our own instead.
There are ones that flattens at the center of the bending section, and returns as a pipe again.

 

ya i was thinking that route but i want to see what some people say first

Thought: Get square tubings with cone shape ends & weld it to a pipe flange.

 

well i dont have a welder so i would have to pay someone to use their welder or do it for me so its not like it would be free, and the piping...you wanna make me one?

ah, see, that wouldnt work Ryan if you don't have the skill or the tools to get it done. Suggestion, make friends with a welder.
