ive been lookin online at z32 brake master cylinders. the prices range from 90 to about 300, both new. wtf? can anyone tell me the dif.? is it just different brands?

 

New and Reman'd.

 

yeah, the new ones are 300. the remanufactured are 90. go to advance or autozone and get a remanufactured one, put it in, and take yours back as a core. like 50 bucks when youre done.

 

Yeap, that's what I did. And you'll be happy to know that your reservoir will snap right into the Z32 BMC. No splicing of wires or anything for the fluid level sensor.

 

There are 4 different types you're going to find:

new w/reservoir
remanned w/reservoir
new no reservoir
remanned no reservoir

After re-doing my brakes recently, I would highly recommend a new reservoir regardless of the application. I witnessed stress cracks and wasted a ton of time cleaning out all of the dirt in the old one.

that one should work fine. i would still suggest just getting a remanufactured one from the parts store. much cheaper
