Sooooooo this week's 240 problem is...

The last week or two my car has been hesitating when going through gears, especially going from first to second. It makes a puttering sound when I accelerate and now it tries to stall when I first start the car. Also sometimes it gives off a burning smell....not sure what of though

Now Ive had alot of ppl say it could be timing and fuel issues but I'm just not sure. I am not a mechanic so I can't be 100% accurate with this. Does anyone have an idea what this could be or can someone take a look at it?

I will do that when all else fails. If I knew the prob I could do it my self and with the help of my dad, but I am getting so many diff ideas on what could be wrong.

just try advancing your timing right quick, see if it helps

 

Where do you live? You can bring it over and we could look at it for you...If not, your best bet is to wait until the meet in Jan...there will be a lot of guys there to help you.

right on.... feed us beer and we'll look at it.. won't fix shit tho but i'll tell ya what isn't wrong.
It's probaly got a lose radio throttle temp. gimmick and it takes time ,beer and nipples to determine how rotten the toggle pedal for the radio temp sensor is and how much to prime it's carb... but with beer to feed the masses we might fuckup and just fix the damn thing or atleast talk about it.
really tho, i hope TR will step up as they have for me in the past !!!
Can't have a S13 discourage you into just selling it for 100 when i'll give ya 200.. i know, i'm stupid now write it down..........
