Greddy intake z32maf enthalpy tune are the basic mods and know I cant get it to idle on decel or when I come to a stop it likes to try and die sometimes. Any ideas. thinking iac or tps. Really just fed up with the car.

it could be many things but i'd check for boost/vac leaks first cuz mine will do that sometimes and its always a coupler that works its way loose


also if your car doesnt idle at 900rpm then bump up the idle till it does that should help

 

No leaks already check tighten all t-bolts and did a smoke check. nothing.

 

hmm. if you have volt meter check the volts on the tps and make sure they go up when you rev the car and they are steady. i dont remember what volt is normal but when mine went bad it dropped volts like crazy. if martin sees this i hope he'll post he would know

I raise it to 1500 which is the only place it will stay andnot die but that is a little high.

 

yeah you shouldnt have to put it that high. you need either a idle air controller or tps. probably a iac and if theyre both good go pick up a ids (idle defense system) apexi makes them and theyre around 100$ and they work very well

 

....Show me a link of this Idle defense system that Apexi has. never heard of it and cant find it. Plus Y would I need that I should justbe able to fix it with out another bolt on. Im starting to think it is enthalpy tune..It wasnt like that until i got the ecu back from them.

 

i think the safc 2 has a decel counter....its a mod specifically for slowing down and avoids stalling
