I was gonna say the same thing. I ran a 14.4 in the 1/4 with my type r with just an aem intake and a lower final drive.

 

Why are people so dumb sometimes. A Type R Integra has 195 hp and 138ftlbs and The sr20de in this NX2000 only has 150hp and 138ftlbs. How can people say thats a easy comparision.

 

y even care? we are talking about mid to high 14 second cars. they shouldnt even be mentioned on a racing website.

If this all motor car has 170whp, that is more than enough to get it into the low 14s. I also have a friend that had a B18C in a Civic Coupe, he put out 172whp, and was running mid 13s.

 

Civics weigh less than this car by atleast 200lbs. and i know the kid said the car has 170whp but his car doesnt. he only has a 165hp at the motor if hes lucky. His car has a fully body kit on it. The only part of the car that is gutted is the small trunk and he has the trunk filled with 2 subwoofers and a huge subbox. The car out of a factory weighs 2380lbs curbweight. Does everyone think a 2400lb car with 150whp run low 14s? and the gears on the transmission are not crazy long gears but there not that short of a gear ratio.

 

If this is the case than no he's not running 14's. I can't believe I'm arguing about a 14 second car. what a waste of time.

 

Haha yeah I know. but this friend of ours just doesnt believe us. he tells us his sr20de out of a primera p11 has 180whp with just a intake, headers and exhaust and that his car only weighs 2000lbs when he has never had it weighed and tells us it runs low 14's without ever even running a quartermile run. he just doesnt believe us that his car will probly only do 15.5 at most.

 

The whole point of this thread isn't really to brag about a 14 second car, but to prove whether or not this car with it's specific performance work, weight, non turbo, and other things as to if it would even hits the 14's...
