I have a friend of mine that says his car runs atleast 14.2 and has about 170ish horsepower to the wheels... I say there is no way possible his car is running that kinda times. Right or wrong? The link for his vehicle is the first one and the second is a link with a sr20det 1/4 mile time of 14.0 at 104mph. Please help and prove either one of us wrong. His car practically always has full interior and a subwoofer, but the full A/C setup has been removed for weight and performance purposes. Thanks in advance for your time.

What do you think his car should actually run in a 1/4 mile?

A friend of mine ran a 13.0@107mph with a T25, 12psi and supporting mods, on an SR20DE powered Sentra.

Are you saying these cars can't be fast or what?

So your saying there is no way for a 170whp/170+wtq, 2400lb. NX2000 to run low 14s? If so you're mistaken.

 

yeah thats a light car and with those numbers he should run atleast that, but yeah as already stated if i was going to lie i sure as hell would say better numbers than 14's

 

Its not really that much power. The car has a sr20de from a Nissan Primera. They only have 150hp and 138lbtq. The only upgrade the kid did to the motor is only headers and a airfilter. The curb weight of the nx2000 is around the 2400 mark and he has a body kit on the car. With that power I only gave him credit enofe for a mid 15 of the quarter. Then he wanted to punch me lol.

 

Hey we are talking about a N/A sr20de with headers. Not a sr20de with a turbo kit running on 12psi with supporting mods and shit.
