brake light problem

brake light problem
the light on the cluster that indicate the brake is on wont turn off in my car its always on and its killing my battery. Is there a wire i can cut so it doesnt get power ive unplug all the sensors for the brake and it still stays on ( i plugged them back in after) any ideas. thx in advance

check your brake fluid. mine used to go on and off as i went around courners till i filled it. and theres a plug on the brake booster you can un plug i think its just a sensor but dont quote me on that i dont see what else it could do

+1 the light will come on if there is low fluid...

if the light stay on with key off u have short.if is on with the key on check the sensor at the e brake.and that light only use .5 volt is kind hard to velieve is killing your batt or your alt is going badd. gl

alts fine tested it. its on all the time it started after we did the sr are swap it will kill it over night its kinda a small battery im going to get a big one and see if that will help but it still dont know y its on all the time. rihgt now its only a 425 cold cranking
