Default need help with my sr

ok, i have a s14se with a s14 black top sr. gt2871r,megan mani, dp, and turbo elbow. turbosmart bov, fmic, and so on.

my car was running great no problems at all, but the ic piping was homemade and looked like crap, so i pulled it off, cleaned it up and went to drive the car.. it wouldnt go into boost, as soon as the it reads 0 psi and tries to go over it will just fall on its face and sputter, all while not going any faster. so i thought it was a boost leak and bought an ic piping kit with new couplers and all., i also tucked the harness over the intake mani. the car sat a couple days, and when i went to start it and drive it. it still does the same thing. i have checked all the couplers and piping. no leaks. i am not sure what to check next. someone help me out here.

UPDATE***. ok, today we checked all the wiring, checked the maf, checked for boost leaks again, and checked the coil pack/ignitors. everything was fine. what else could it be.

+1. check the maf. on my friends SR, the plug for the maf, had a broken tab on the clip, and it wouldnt hold a strong connection, so everytime we tried to get into boost, it would bog and sputter and pretty much not do a thing. so check any bad wires, or the plug. if that all works, try a different maff.

not always the MAF that is wrong such as he said, just the wiring

mine starting reading and running like shit so i was about to replace it but i figured i would check the wires first, and sure enough one of the maf's wires had some how got cut and it wasn't getting a good connection

so trace the wires for the MAF back to the harness

g/l

Usually when people check the MAF, I would hope they check all the wiring as well. But then again, we don't have some of the smartest people in the scene.

so everyone know, it worked before he fucked around with it hahah.

thats why i suggested looking at the actual mafs and not the wiring. it ran good before so i figured the wiring should be fine
