The sad thing is that a lot of tuners are trying to get into VIP because it is a new fad, but the difference is the new fad is VIP "style" rather than true VIP. For instance, 240's, scion's, and any FWD can NOT be VIP by definition. They can be VIP styled, but not really VIP.


And yes Infiniti is only in the US, but It IS still an import, especially if your going to VIP it because the CIMA is JDM only!

 

Actually, what you'll have is a bunch of kids trying to get into VIP and then not being able to afford it and they will either have crappy unfinished cars or they will have to sell it and they will be out of the scene. Most kids don't realize that if the car is a real VIP chassis type, most simple repairs are two to three times that of a honda,240, dsm etc....

A good example is if the Navi gets F-ed on a Y33 your looking at a hefty dealer bill. And you CAN'T be VIP without all the parts on your car working properly.

I still live at home yes, but I also have a well paying job thats looking pretty promising. I am not getting into it because its a "new fad"-I've always liked it, even since before I got my eclipse, but I was never able to afford it. Now with my new job I should be able to get things going.
