Hey we should all get together one day and see how stuff works out. We have had a lot of ideas for a somewhat car club which would be more of a union deal. We could all go under Sentra92s club Team Nismo or start our own thing nissan needs a little more power we know we are better then those hondas when would be a good time we could all get together and where? I say early April we should have a meet and talk about it....just an idea.

Well i would love to get a Nissan group going. The Nismo side here never seemed to be very organized and not much of a turnout all the time. By forming a something new we have the chance to do more and not have to worry about our club disowning us. Like I have said time and time again for this to work there has to be a solid team. That means dedicated persons that will try their best to help with things such as organizing planning development and other things that may arrise. All in all with a few people responsibilities divided it wouldnt be that much work. As always let me know what you guys think and what you want to do.

I Remember Seeing Some Nissans Sporting The Team Nismo Banner At Miami Subs. None Were Very Modified Or Serious About Anything. The Team Nismo From Orlando Was Pretty Serious With Multiple Turbo And NOS Cars.

Personally I Wouldnt Want To Be In A Car Club With A Bunch Of Stock Or Mildly Modified Cars. I Also Wouldnt Want A Banner On My Car That People/COPS Would Associate With Street Racing And Driving Like An Idiot.

I Think The Guys From Orlando Pitched a Fit About The Tampa Guys. That Was Understandable. They Werent Really Making Team Nismo Look Good.

okay first of all that is not what happened at all. team nismo tampa went through some rough spots before i got there and if you want the complete true story on it ask jason aka rocco. anyways team nismo tampa was disbanned because it was an embarassment. there was no one coming out and it was the same three people. that had nothing to do with some of the members it was more upon the guy who was running it because he wasnt into running it anymore. this is not going to be a team nismo name. i have made alot of friends thorough that but i will not be associated with that name. it wasnt ricey it was a decent club though orlando did have a better group but hey they had mark russ and chef and angela. team nismo was a great group and i had alot of fun but its time to bury that name in tampa.

I would LOVE to organize tamparacing.com Nissan mini-meets once or maybe twice a month.

After last months turn-out I dont see much point to it. I understand that people have lives etc and couldnt make it but there were LOTS of responses on this board from people saying they would show and only about 10 at the MAX showed. This is including 3 that arent even tr.com members.

I am planning on setting up another meet early next month and hopefully the turnout will be better.

True SR20DET meets are good but you have to branch out of TR and try to get the rest of the Nissan groups. I would do it like I did last time(last Team Nismo Meet) but you said you want to organize it and I think youd be the man.

As for Team Nismo there is no official American Team Nismo. Nismo was started and stays in Japan with no US association. People over here started their american version but still no associations between the two. So I really dont mind not being a part of it Im not bashing them at all. Nissan is what I have grown to love so all Nissans no matter what club are welcome by me.

UtilityCow what classified makeing Team Nismo looking good? Im just curious I dont know what their rules and thoughts are.

Back to my last post up there. If we got a team going there would be any type of Nissan modded or not. I want to bring the Nissan group together if they dont have a heavily moded car or much mods at that they are there to be part of a team!! Hell my 240 only has an intake and stage 3 clutch I am happy with her the way she is now plus I dont have the $$ to go crazy on her. Anywhooot its not like people cant be involved in more than one club its good to branch like that. Err this is a long post and my soap box is breaking. Later!!

 

I also post on www.maxima.org and the 240sx.com UBB off of fatman-racing.com. Prior to the last meet I didnt post on these two sites until a few days before the meet. After the next meet is planned I will post on both of these boards in advance.

I thought about sentra.net also but I dont think sentra.net even has a UBB of any kind.
