It seems I'm really going to need that starter more than I thought. I have to rotate the motor by hand to get it away from TDC before I can get the motor to run. Something is seriously wrong with my block. I think I got the wrong size bearings, even though they were marked standards.
Other than that the motor runs fine once its spinning. Idles perfectly and sounds healthy. So I'll wait and see if something lets go during the break in process.

that sucks
and kevin i have no idea whats going on with my car, i turn the key nothing, starter dosent try, no electronics come on, no idiot lights in the cluster. but my battery is fine, my head lights and dome lights work. my starter signal wire is in, my grounds on the battery are fine, my ignition plugs are checked and fine, my alt fuse is fine, i cant find anything wrong... fucking killing me

Check your grounds in the engine bay, I had the same problem earlier tonight, the one ground coming from the fuse/relay box mainly. Mine wasnt tied down and the starter wouldnt work.

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.
