KW Variant3's showed up with Tein hats. 2-part secret sauce arrived. F/R rotors are here. Getting wheels soon.

So what do you think about tires. Fast streeet, would like to autox and not make an ass out of myself (so the tires need to compensate, lol). Don't care about wear. Somewhat concerned about noise.
Kumho XS - I've heard that they're the new hot shit. About $600 for a set.
Hankook RS2 - Cheaper, probably a better street tire.
Direzza Star Spec - Last year's hot shit. A little more than the XS.
RE-01R - wish I would have bought during the sale.

I still say Nitto NT-05's - 8$ more per tire than RT615's

Non asymetrical, It seems that everyone like them even better then the Star specs, and even prefer them over the RE-01R's, And it seems they are very quiet.

I thought the RS-2s were discontinued? They have the softest siewall and they grease over the fastest of anything in that catigory.

 

i say star specs, seem the best of the bunch, it really doesnt matter though, dude with the 3rd ftd last bmw event i went to was in an e34 525i on bald as shit nankangs.
i think shittier tires will make you a better driver in the long run.
