Ran my batter cables, installed SS clutch line and rear brake lines. If all goes well I might have my car running by next weekend.

WTF are you idiots doing to these KAs to rod knock 'em? Jesus, I've blatantly tried to kill several KA motors and they refused to die...even after 250,000 + miles. Too busy to change the oil?

The onlything I can think of to make a KA rod knock is a bad oil-pump. And it always seems to be cyl/rod 3 that goes. Or on two spare motors I've picked up thats what happend.

on all the cars i know of it was cyl 3 too.
