Still waiting for you to post up something saying this. I've never seen it. And even if you found some piece of marketing paperwork advertising an XX% increase over the previous model, there's a good chance it was just that. Marketing.

This argument is ancient by the way... they were discussing it when I got my first 240 back in early 2000's. Go read old articles on Freshalloy if you want good tech info back when smart people were still into 240's.

But wait...this is the interwebs...all statements are true.

I personally have never driven a S14 and wouldnt like mind comparing the "feel" difference. One question though...better choice for what?

seems like no one keeps them stock if they do anything outside of daily driving them...so that point could be mute.

Mine is stock and will be for a while. The difference in suspension and cornering is the only different I would say, I think the s14 has too little headroom thats for damn sure. But after mine is all fixed up I would let you give it a drive.

so let me see... Nissan says the S14 is 50% more rigid, and has a 100% improvement over bend rigidity... then tommy says "that's all bullshit stop reaching"

well fuck, i guess I'll have to pass on a multibillion dollar auto manufacturer, and go with Tommy, Nissan doesn't know what the hell they're talking about, Tommy does... maybe you should stop calling people retarded when you don't even know what the fuck you're talking about.

dan, i would say that a 50% and 100% improvement over a previous model is a substantial improvement... yes, put all the bracing on a S13, and then you'll have probably around the same amount.... then put the same bracing on a S14, and you'll have a substantially improved chassis, well over Nissans rated numbers...

I would say a 345mm tire, with what 120% the section width of a 165mm tire, would be a huge gain, but if you put both on the rear of a car with 90HP, how much better do you expect the acceleration is going to be ?

(hint, marshall will believe marketings claim that it will knock seconds off 0-60mph)
