S13 needs work to be where I want it and I have a new car I'm interested in buying. Its a solid car and I know Patrick had that thing really moving around Sebring but I dont want to spend money or work on cars constantly.
The biggest difference is the fact that you have to tinker with it a lot more to make it as handle as well and also gas tank location. It really throws the weight balance off since it hangs off the ass end. The car did pretty well over the weekend up in the mountains especially for being way to low and on shitty tires. Its not far off from an S14 but its the details that count and I'm one for details. For most people it wouldnt matter.
Basically all the S13 needs is to be raised up, SPL tie rods, front brace work (fender braces, nismo power brace,) Sway bars, S14 subframe, HLSD and better tires. Then it would be pretty much on par for what I'd want. Its only about 1k in extra parts but like I said, dont want to spend the money or time messing with it. I enjoyed driving it though and it did way better than I expected since I never even set it up properly.

Dan's car was really moving for having Federals on it. I had star specs and Kevin was on NT05s. If that car had my old 245x4 setup he would have left us. I had some SPL parts that didnt get installed on the Z in time to fix the understeer, so my car had noticably less grip. I also warped my rotors and fought pad knockback all weekend. Probably getting Girodiscs all around next month and ditching these project mus for hawk hps.
