Disconnected vacuum line from leaky BOV.

got really bored, so i was like fuck it, let's smoke some kill in the garage...

stared at my car for like 15 minutes blankly....

finally after almost a year, i put on my pass side kick panel with road flare, tucking AEM ECU/harness...

then now getting motivated, i went into beast mode on my engine bay...

cleaned:

entire firewall
strut towers
core support/hood seal
fender jams
wiper cowl
ABS unit
hood catch assembly/frame
valve covers/coil pack cover, and front cover
misc. bits, couplers, assemblies, units, brackets

then i tucked:

Entire ABS harness and random twin turbo harness
The OEM boost sensor and vac lines
power steering harness
Blitz EBC harness
rear coil pack/injector harness behind valve covers
throttle cable
misc harness/wires under/around the intake manifold

it's still this dirty though, but a lot better than what it was....




then, finally, i cleaned my muffler can/tip, a few of you can attest to the poor/dirty/greasy/oversprayed condition it was in.... now it's all nice and shiny, and you can actually read the "HKS Super Dragger" on either side of the tip... still got to get some tarnish off the tip, and probably going to spray all the piping with some high temp black...






i think i'll load another one, and hit up the random things i've been meaning to get to with the interior...

put in my sun visors, DAD/Garson Pedals, got my embroidered headrests back and installed, and got the badges on the trunk. Also added some Garson Crystals to the seat belt holders.

been busting my ass off for weeks tryin to get my car goin for desoto. Its not purdy but it should be fun to drive!

 

picked up adaptors and wheels for it. Just have to figure out if I am going to powder coat them or just say F it and roll them as is. I need a pair of 225/45/19's...

Finally got the right size bolts for my intake manifold, fuel rail finally got tapped to fit my -8 fittings, now just extending the two water lines that connect to the IACV.
