Working on that, but the cage prevents the uses of them (decided to keep it.) So I have to make a rear panel to cover the trunk then use sound deadening stuff on that to stop the noise. Plus the entire rear section of the car has the factory deadening material already removed. Its not actually all that much louder than my S14's, but the less noise the better.

I did the whole sound deadening removal -> hate it -> replace it fiasco years ago. I agree that the firewall stuff was the most important, as the carpet and backing effectively takes care of the floors. Don't use dynamat on the firewall, though. Use thicker felt padding like this Thermo-Tec 14130 - Thermo-Tec Thermo-Guard FR Heat Shields - Overview - SummitRacing.com. It worked well in my experience. Mass loading (like dynamat, et al) doesn't work as well on the frequencies that you're trying to cut down on.

did some ISR'ing last night in ocala...
car scene is ocala blow the doors off of gainesville, and what i've seen in tampa... mofo's in 9sec cars full cages, and slicks and skinnys showing up...
beat an EVO with a 2 step, and 25psi..
then proceeded to lose to DESERTEAGLE50's old stock RB20 GTS4 skyline...
wtf?
pretty cool to see two R32's lined up, with the flag man in the middle though... rare sight in FL...

to the references of pizza boy and race wars IE F&F, there was a couple idiot kids out there talking about having scanners and 2 way radios... i was like WTFBAI... every where you go, there'll be those dipshits...
if i'm gonna keep doing this stupid shit, i gotta get my launch control set up.. this pile of shit is laggy as fuck...

What is a good, slightly upgraded brake pad? Ill be swapping to q45 fronts, and the z31 bracket/altima rears.

That was me. 297mm late q45 dual piston fronts. S14 rears on z32 rotors with 84-86 z31 brackets. Hawk hps all around, new stock lines, auto S14 master 15/16. This was an awesome setup for aggressive street. Very balanced. Dan had it for a while. Now kevin has it. Hawk hps are quiet but dust like a mofo. I got this setup to smoke on the dragon with a stock ka.
