no its expandable foam, you can get it from grainger and other industrial supply companies. there are different weights and densities also. Theres a thread about it on freshalloys in the archive section. The foam is a bit expensive, it would probably be about 100$ to just do the inside of the car and frame rails.

i'm taking my manifold and turbo off so i'm ready to put a new manifold in, when it comes in the mail . I blew the inlet gasket out

 

I saw those and said the same thing you did. They look super easy to make and should help out a lot with the front end sag. I'd definitely fab/install them with full weight on the suspension, wouldn't want my car looking like a croissant driving down the road.

lol, im just taking off the fender, making the brackets first, then welding the crossmembers in place with some reinforcement. Im headed off to Alro metals now to pick up the tubing.

why dont you keep it and drive it around while saving?

 

Because it's got some quirks that need to be figured out. And I dont want to get stuck again on the side of the road. I'm not putting down the job done on the wiretuck because it looks great, but I'm wondering if some of the things that were deleted are causing the problems Im having.
