I think Im going to make fender braces tomarrow. Like these (SPL-Parts) Dont feel like spending 200$ on something I can easily make.


hopefully picking up SPL ver. 2 tension rods tomarrow afternoon and possibly going to foam fill certain areas of my car.

lol, i had never seen them before and i had no idea how they mounted... i was perplexed(sp), thanks for clearing that up haha

 

I was too for the longest time untill I finally found pictures of them mounted. Im hoping my car wont flex as much when it goes up on jackstands. should help stop creaking and flexing a good deal.

 

i want some of those also. where do you plan on foaming?

that doug guy tried selling me an s13 drivers side door skin as an s14 once. i laughed at him, left, and never came back

friend gave them away in a trade, i wish i had got them from him !

 

If enough people want them, and they turn out good maybe I'll make a few of them. And if any one around has an S13 with the fenders off I could take a look in to that as well. If I dont end up pulling a friends motor Im going make them tomarrow.

Rocker panels, A/B/C pillars and the cross section under the rear seat. Later on I'll do the frame rails, and if I some how get some extra money I might try out the rear subframe and possibly the engine cross member, but thats a bit over kill.

 

hmm, im gonna have the car apart this summer. i might have to give it a try. its structural foam from H.D., and LOWES right?

 

Ask doug if he can put a rb in a civic, hell tell you he's done hundreds of them
