I also Seafoamed, changed spark plugs & wires, oil, oil drain plug and fixed my speedo. She be running good now

 

Drove to Moroso for the Nopi event, had NO problems. On the way back it started running like crap. Get back into Sarasota and it's barely running. Get lucky enough to find a friend of a friend working at a Discount that just closed to get sparkplugs. Only to stop under shelter from the rain, to have the cheap ass plug wires that were put on this swap, break and it's now too late to go buy new ones. I believe at least 1 of the plugs was fouled out. So had the car towed home awaiting plug wires tomorrow. Oh, and I lost my brand new effing cell phone. Moral of the story is, after now seeing at least 6 sets of Excel plug wires break the first time you try taking them off...they can burn in hell.

Sorry for my rant, but it's turning into 1 thing after another with this car since I bought it, and it's getting old

jus get the cheap wires and make sure the spark plug well dont have any oil in them

 

The motor will most likely be for sale next month but not the car.

And the cheap wires from Discount (Excel brand) are crap. Every set I had on my Crx broke when taking them off, same with friends cars, and now my 240.

You can buy NGK spark plugs & wires for about $100. My car is running super good now ever since i did this.

 

Well, if they sucked on the CRX, why did you buy another set? Glutton for punishment?
