I've got a z32 knob, and the whole thing sticks up over the console with that shifter mod. Did you cut the upper part right where it flares out, or up higher near the threads?

 

Any place to buy an OEM sr20 coil pack harness?

I think I have a spare harness you can have.

And I have a mitsu/dsm knob on my car and it sits pretty much perfect.

 

I also have several coilpack harness'

 

i cut it right below the flare so i could use the extra metal from the flare to weld it so i didnt need to use filler.

the problem is is that the shift knob i made for the car before i did this i made to sit really low. the top of the knob material sits about a quarter inch from the top of the threads on the shifter. i'm just gonna put my stock shift knob on there until i machine a new one.

 

Weighted knobs really help out too. What was the one you machined made out of?

Swapped my 30r out for a 35r finally, no tuning til next week, probably going to do just a pump tune then, power goal on the 35r is 500 pump, 700 or as close a we can get to it race.

Un-tuned wastegate boost car feels okay I guess, running rich til upper 5000rshared_pm region when the turbo wakes up. Boost creep between 15 to 20psi up top.
