Got a boost leak tester? And a spray bottle to put soap and water in?

 

Its a Vacuum leak for sure, I've put the gauge on it multiple times, it used to be around 18 which was already lowish and now its around 16. It should be around 20 at idle. Still idles steady (though it vibrates a little more than it should) and drives fine, just running a bit more rich than it should. I pulled the plugs over the weekend and they still look pretty good, but they've only been in the car 2 weeks.

 

how many miles have you put on it now dan? is it legal yet?

 

I dunno I dont have a working Odometer, but I've been driving it around everyday for the last month. So probably 500 or more.

my helpful advice for the day is that you can check for a vacuum leak with water too.
just instead of it idling up from carb cleaner, it will bog down and run worse.

but, it wont mess up paint either.

Allright so my driver side window sits too far forward.

So today I took my door panel off in order to fix/adjust it but it totally mindfucked me. Is there a way to adjust this? I might need to snag pics to help explain the problem LOL.

 

Find window rail. There's only one and its on the front edge. Loosen bolts. Move back. Reassemble.

 

Found my intake manifold and fuel rail were loose, re tq'd, breaking up minimized....popped the hood and my 30amp inline fuse that goes to the pump is melted -_- , second problem found

 

That gasket I've got is used. But it'd work fine with some copper spray. Yours was new... I'm wondering if you just have something caught in there.
