well did my interior today came out awesome i did the head liner and glove box and here in a few im going to try and tackle the door panels, they look like there gonna be a pain in the dick lol

 

Decided to pressure wash the engine bay, now I either have have to strip it down and paint it... Or just leave it fucked up, like it is. Decisions decisions =\

first dropped car at R&B for miracle one day turn around.
prepped car for 2 hours to help progress... then left and went to All-American StreetCar shop to begin diggin into motor.

swapped all my parts from the 99 camaro to the 98 vette block:
oil pan/baffle/pump/pickup
the new timing chain/gears
some new rear main and rear cover gaskets
SLP balancer, water pump, powersteering, starter, alt, coils, some sensors....

all thats left is intake, bolt up trans, and re-install and see how she runs.


there was definitely glitter/metal shavings in the pan, that was fresh as ever when installed. so yea, rod bolts arent being touched. but funny enough, the 98 motor is the weaker rod bolt of the LS1 motors. Yay for having a no win scenario!!
