Datsun Dreaming
Almost inhaled some pepsi

OT, picked up a front and rear main seal for the SR, as well as the proper throwout bearing for the ogura clutch, got a bunch of paint stripper and started stripping the engine bay of the typical "yeehhh uhh letsss gitt err dun" spray paint the engine bay job.
Hopefully tomorrow the engine bay will be:
HOK KP2CF primer
PPG Global sealer
PPG Deltron Ice silver metallic base
HOK UFC35 clearcoat
guy on zilvia is selling a passenger side for $50, lil plastic bolt hole are fucked though.

^ Are you going to drive at cfrc meet on the 15th?
hahahahahhaahah
loosen the compressor housing and rotate it to a section with more clearance? I never had this problem because my 3071R had a smaller cover. I did have special wrenches that I narrowed with a grinder, though. If you rotate the compressor, be careful of the o-ring/gasket in there.

Pulled it. Tried to extract the studs in the engine bay because i'm a lazy moron. Was unsurprisingly unsuccessful. Then pulled all 6 bolts that hold the housing to the CHRA, and the housing would not separate... 6,000 miles of heat cycling, I guess.
Finally I pulled the whole turbo, I'll take it to a machine shop tomorrow so they can extract the studs for me.
Sigh
