I just realized that the main belt on the sohc car is pretty much toast. I just pulled it, and now going to Autozone to get a new one.

Got to the parts store to get the alt belt. I show up with the old belt, and it turns out that none of the belts they have for 240s matched my belt. So eventually, someone just measured it, and got me a 4 rib. I had a 3 rib. They told me that the belt just broke off a rib. So it's whatevas. I got home and put it in. What do you know? The tensioner is 4 rib, the bottom pulley is 4 rib, but the alt pulley is 3 rib. FML. Is it supposed to be 3 or 4 rib for a sohc alt?
