You know I really can't understand why people think S-chassis are all race cars. Like if someone wants a race car why would you buy a s13?

Who said anything about race car ? Even fast street cars run decent size tires, sorry but 255/265/275's are not "race car" sizes.

600 HP is not "race car" level either

True. OEM M3 tires are 255's out back. 275 is the proper upsize tire most of the guys on the M3 forums run on stock 9.5 inch wide wheels.

Bingo

9-9.5's = 255-275, mayyybe 285's, but that gets a bit too bulgy for me, i'm planning on something around 9" and 255's or 265's for daily, rear, and 8" with 235 or 245 front.

But hey I want actual traction, for uhh accelerating, and cornering and stuff

Really sucks im not ready for wheels yet, these would be perfect if i could get them to swap between the two sets, then I could have 17x8 + 30 fronts and 17x9 +47 rears. Though im not that eager to run a crosslace style wheel, they'd still look great.
The matte black on them definetly does amount to something i likes.
