Random thought.

I was spacing out while rinsing out a paint roller for the 8000th time this week, and my mind wandered towards the Prius sudden accel hoax(es) and everyone jumping on the hate Toyota bandwagon. Then I remember not 6 short years ago, Nascar driver Jimmy Specer said this about Toyota starting to compete in the Truck Series: "Those sons of bitches bombed Pearl Harbor, don't forget". Maybe that explains the Toyota hate; maybe there's a little Jimmy Spencer in all of us. <cue: America, Fuck Yeah!>

Its not really the fact that you can see it, my core is like 11" tall and hangs almost as low as my bumper. I scrape my bumper at least 3 times a day, I don't care to scrape my FMIC. I may just bust out the 3" cut off and make it go higher, lol.

 

as long as its higher than the tow hooks you should be okay.

My factory keyless entry worked for like like a year untill the remote fell apart and the battery died. I'm pretty sure if I got a new battery it would work again.

Oh and if you still want the gear box you have dibs, probably going to take it out of the car next friday night.

I like it too. 2 problems to note though.

1- range blows REALLLLLLY bad. 20 feet max!
2- if your hood open sensor grommet is old and busted, alarm goes off randomly, easy fix though

 

Now just put that backdoor FMIC on that i spy hanging out next to the garbage can

Hindsight...should have had them fill in the front plate holes...or even remove the whole rectangular indentation altogether. Would have been super smooth and hot.

Regardless it looks 100x better than the chipped up faded bustness that I rocked for years. You can only buff it so much haha.
