just replaced the rack in pinon $400 me and a friend did it not hard but time consuming and oil dirt every where. and now it has air bubbles in it so its smooth to turn then hard as hell to turn. driving for 2 days with the cap off to let the air out its working slowly.

 

spent all day today replacing a snapped manifold to turbo stud and still trying to figure out where im losing coolant. i think i found it though

 

ya ive got a friggin coolant leak and i have no idea where its coming from.

 

you need to go get those studs tack welded.
never loosen again.

the red thread locker is amazing. and hi heat aproved. it dried and backed out a stud from the head... damn

 

last night - took off MBV baby eater, and put the N1 back on. I'll use it for events but not for daily driving.

 

Today I figured out that my brakes suck again. Pedal is all mushy and almost goes to the floor.

No idea what's up, the master is new, the vacuum booster is newer...it's probably the proportioning valve now. I hate my brakes, I really do. Getting really tired of bleeding them. I was really hoping they'd hold out until the motor came out (ie, they'd be easier to do) but noooooooooo.
