new ngk spark plugs, new injector Orings.. did compression test and it didnt come out soo good. somthing like 130,160,180,0. The last cylinder would go up in compression then go back down from what my friend said. I also flooded the engine from trying to crank it so many times so maybe has to do something with a weak spark? I'm doing this wd40 trick where I take out the old spark plugs sprayed wd40 in the cylinders and let it sit for and hour or soo then crank it to clean the cylinders then put the NEW spark plugs back in to see if it will start (hope I explained that rightlol) if that doesnt work then I dont know where to go expect take out the sohc then do a real mans swap. try again..

 

take the plugs out and crank the engine, put the plugs back in.

 

-Re-installed 180 vlsd
-Put on the MBV baby eater exhaust.. its loud.
After work plan to wash her

 

re-did the vacuum lines to clean up the bay a bit, changed out the nasty cone filter to a new one and topped off the coolant

i did n60 maf, s15 injectors, fixed my ac, ka compressor on sr, dyno tomorrow.

Tried to start the coupe, So it just maked loud poping noises like someone was shooting off Mortors so ya its whatever.wont start.. out it will come very soon.. like tonight I'll start taking it apart then monday go buy a engine lift!

its not the engine dude. it will start just needs work

 

We've done all the work there is to do to get this engine running, I've gone down the list countless times and nothing is left but the motor its self because from what the compression test showed it doesnt have compression in the fourth cylinder and the other didnt look to promising either. I'm going to try to start it one more time.. if it doesnt then Im giving up on this engine and moving onto something better for the coupe. Its just a sohc.. its nothing. Im not going to let this stop the coupe from running! lol
