bought a new engine harness so i can tuck that shit away when I go turbo.

then took a few pictures of it.

then did some heel toe driving.

Tim, on that last run that I told you I hesitated to use the brakes I got a 36.027 and beat my brother by like .02. It was awesome because before the last run he started victory dancing. I used to rub on really hard left turns, but now nothing and the car is even more comfortable on the street. At least I got some inspiration today to put my tension rod brace on and get ready for the next event.
i look at times every once in a while, but barely care. my fastest run was a 35 something with one cone, wayyy out of shape too. next time ill probably just look at my times at the end. i hate that scorecard thing though, since it doesnt show all the times. i still cant believe i spun as hard as i did, that shit was crazy, but i still didnt hit a cone at least. glad to hear the brakes werent a big deal. going full soft helped me at st pete, but i think i could have used more damping on this track. oh well.

sold my s14 today, s13 died on my way home from an art show, i think it was a loose ground, but i may bail out on porsche club tomorrow just in case i didnt actually fix it. if i dont go, im going to look at a pretty nice e30 318is. something different i guess.
im mainly looking for a p11 g20, a second gen es300, 2000-2001 sentra se, or who knows. we'll see what i end up with i guess.
so far ive emailed people with a 2.5tl, a few e36's, a 00 3.2tl, and a 525i manual trans.

ugh spent almost 4 hours trying to time my damn ka.no matter what we do we can not get it to run. it is really pissing me off were setting it TDC and the cams perfect and set the dizzy to cly 1 and nothing just spins and spins the best we got was a backfire..
it is so shitty only being able to work on it at night because of my job

sure the cams arent out of time? like lobes facing the right way and everything?
also, if they were out of time and youve been cranking the shit out of it, the plugs are probably soaked in gas.

Got rid of the the dual cam front to make way for a new pignose front. Still searching for a lip. Then it's off to paint next month.

we tried starting it,wouldn't start so we took it apart and did it again and still same shit.so it was sitting for some time before trying to start it again.
we even set it TDC and the cams perfect as of jim wolf or whatever that page i found.then we were turning over the crank untill we came across TDC again and then the cams were off.so we do it again same thing it is like the crank turns like 3 teeth before the cams do when we first put the chain on idk.im going to try and call up some friends that have done this before and see if they can stop by and help.because i cant figure it out at all lol.hell were even setting the dizzy perfect still nothing ugh.im going to bed gotta get up in 5 hours for work.

Tim, don't do it. You'll regret it 318is is a turd bucket of a car. Go for an m3 or a 325is. I also saw you were looking for a sentra. My roommate is selling a 2002 SE-R Spec V pretty cheap. (I know it isn't an sr but I figured I'd give you a heads up.)
