I got a bigger bottle now for the straight argon, and bottles are customer owned, but yeah the little 2ft tall things are cool with my mig, and usually last me a bit, however the tig and its post flow, eats a bit more gas up. So now i've got one thats like 5 ft tall, and the little one for argon, and just the little C25 one for the mig.

 

Still havent found a 91-93 shell. Starting to get discouraged

 

I dont get why you dont just keep your car. If its as clean as it looks in the pictures, its going to be almost impossible to find a shell just as clean around here.

 

Because I want to own a real chuki lol, and there has to be one out there local. Every 240 I have owned was a 89-90 and Ive had 5 lol. I know there isnt a huge difference but Im having super ocd about this build cause I want it to be something I never get rid of. Not something I build and sell 6 months later. TBH Im surprised I havent found a shell yet.

 

^ You won't keep it forever...its a 240, they are popular because they are cheap and easy to build, not collectors cars.

 

Haha I think it would be awesome to have it even when Im old. I dont see a problem with building something you never want to get rid of. Im sure other can agree with that.

 

I plan on never selling my car, i've wanted the damn thing forever, and dont see myself ever selling. it. I'll be one of those old guys with their first car sitting in their garage.

 

I wont likely put mine up for sale once im done, but everything has its price, someone makes the right offer and i'll sign my name on the dotted line.
