*edit

maz only carries tomei's set for solid lifters... lame. i should get the 304 kelfor cams though ;P
S3M cam is only a 260 degrees and suitable for stock valve springs. It's pretty darn mild. Just a step 1 GTi-R cam.

I just double checked on SPL site, KTS do take 65mm springs.

Mazworx has a sweet plot of Bosch 1600's that go way non-linear around 1.5mS, if you want to see some ugliness.

Bottom line is, if you're going to see over 350whp frequently, you need more than 550's on standard fuel pressure. So your best options are 740's (see above) or running 550's on 4 bar of fuel pressure.
SR's cant run much more than 400whp on pump gas reliably, and I dont think he is trying to build a race gas machine here. Have you compared a flow plot of 550's vs 740's of similar make / model? I have yet to see a correctly tuned injector swapped car.

I don't feel like searching for some .gif or anything, but I can't wait to see Epsteins response to that one.
