Ultra grey will work. Hondabond is the best sealer/gasket maker I have ever used. Quite pricey though, about 2x as much $$.

your absolute best bet is to use toyota fipg, for transaxles.
its about 16$ a tube.
gear oil will eventually eat through most non gear oil specific rtv type stuff.

Got the #6 header primary reworked how I wanted it for the collector positioning, then made the #4 header primary tube done, got half of primary #2 tacked in place, just need to finish that primary and i've pretty well got myself a set of LS1 S13 headers

Got the valves shimmed (sanded down some shims to level the rockers,) bled the lash adjusters, installed the lash adjusters, rockers, set the timing, and installed the cams. Maybe one day soon I can get this engine out of my shower.

I pulled apart Ken's old hardbody trans to find the problem, no luck as of tonight. I don't see anything jammed or bent.
