If I can get this CB550 for 100$ then I'll start soon. If not I'm going to wait till I get my motor done to start one. But thats cool, nice thing about old bikes is simplicity.

I would get a late 70s Suzuki GS550. They are chain driven and a way better platform for the "cafe racer" thing, although the CB550 can be just as cool.

Uh, they are virtually the same thing in design and looks. All CB's are chain/sprocket as well.

Hondas are easier to find as well.
