Just got done pulling the front coils, off the green car. I love having tools, for fixing idiots mistakes. 4/6 of the front coil nuts were stripped, but got them out with a craftsman stripped nut remover.

Now time to start on the rears, and then get tires for the swaztikas. Cant wait for it to be finished!

 

if i heard it clunking i would of checked it............any car ive ever drove that had anything loose with the caliper or bracket has clunked like hell..........but this made no noise......the bolts must of just been loose and fell out because the new bolts threaded right in........ive since found the passenger rear caliper bolts were cross threaded and jamed in as far as they will go and its not down tight and it also doesnt clunk............my coupe project is turning more and more into a parts car for the hatch every day

 

^ cross threaded caliper bolts are def. something I would have checked before I start daily driving any car I purchase. Nothing like putting your life on the line...

 

^ that's crazy. At least you didn't hurt your car or yourself.

 

newish tires, old passed around lightweight wheels, new blank rear rotors and pads...yay almost ready for sunday

 

Pulled a windshield for it today from Big 3 with the help of whattadobo.
Hopefully getting it installed in the near future... =)
