Oh goodness, reminds me of one of my past employers, nothing weirder than being told to paint a driveshaft going in a 64 impala 409/4spd car like a "candy cane", then when questioning said task, finding out that the other 60's and 70s corvettes sitting in the garage, all have had similar treatment

Ah, I had the circuit sports cast stainless piece that got discontinued, no leaks, that thing was beefy.

yeah, that things way nice, same with the one piece downpipe.
this was one of those "better than nothing" kinda deals, and honestly is the only knockoff part on my car, bought it used for 15$ or some shit though, so who cares you know?
