I know at one point, some of the JDM piston makers actually were getting there's from Wiseco here in the states....

I just want the best setup possible. I have blown 2 stock KA's and I have every support mod to have a great setup. I just need to rebuild the block with some good internals.

Honestly, I found that out in 1998 when my buddy built his SR22det. He had done research and found that Wiseco was the manufacturer for some of the JDM companies. As for the KA, I can only assume that the Wiseco's are quality since they are so good in other applications.

how much power are you looking for? what size turbo and what boost levels are you looking in to?

i have the BC pro series rods and arias 8:8:1 pistons. entire set up is good for up to 700+. my bottom end is pretty similar to ivan's ams ka-t parts wise. let me know if u have any other questions. i have a monster ka-t

I almost always use CP. I have personally done 29 different sets of those and about 10 sets of Wiescos. They are both equally tough. The Bandit never blew a ringland, never siezed a ring.. running 20-25 psi for 2 years and 300F stints.
