Default brake light issue

i have a 93 nissan sentra... the tail light wont go off... i tried the fuse, i replaced the bulbs, and messed with the wires leading to the tail lights... none of which worked... i was thinking it might be the switch on the brake pedal itself.. any insight on an answer would be appreciated...

Yea that tiny switch is prolly what it is. Mess with it a little or re-install it or replace it. If it doesn't fix it just return your old one.

if the brake light stay on all the time is the switch behind the brake pedal or there is a small rubber piece on the brake braket who relese the switch to activate the brake light.
